Occupying a 30,000 ft² factory, Broadfield Plastics Limited, established 1964, specialises in bespoke GRP (glass reinforced plastic) mouldings for a wide range of applications. We have our own pattern -shop, enabling us to offer a complete service, often working with designers and engineers, converting your drawings into quality mouldings. Our two moulding areas (6000 ft² & 9000 ft² respectively) offer the space to manufacture mouldings from small, through to large; our current largest production mould is 28 ft x 9 ft. The 'Trimming and Finishing' area, which is well -extracted, contains purpose-built cutting and routing machines. We do prefer  to jig-cut and jig-drill our components.

Although the majority of our production is hand lay-up, we have the facilities to produce mouldings
through RTM.  

Our main production is for the commercial vehicle industry to which we supply a diverse range of bespoke panels including: wind deflectors, cab fronts, roofs, side skirts, and a whole range of interior and exterior mouldings.

We also provide:

Construction industry:
Fascia panels, concrete moulds, and all types of architectural mouldings.

Water Treatment industry:
Weirs, scum boards, hand stops, and bearing casings.  

Engineering, Electrical, and Heating industries: 
Burner covers, machine guards, arc chutes, etc.

Air-conditioning industry:
Fan cowls, enclosures and housings.
